She is wonderful and compassionate. She has helped me so much. Thank you Dr. Bonnett. After not sleeping and in pain. Fibromyalgia, migraines she ordered a saliva test. Review the results. Put me on replacement hormones. Oh wow. I’m sleeping better. Stiffness is gone. I feel 15 years younger.

Dr. Bonnett has over 20 years of experience in general medicine, mostly working with female patients. For over a decade, she has researched and used natural hormone replacement to help women optimize function and well-being. She can help bridge the gap between cutting-edge science and applying that science to help real people regain health.

"Many women suffer from loss or imbalance of natural hormones. Hormone loss or imbalance can cause major symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, insomnia, mood symptoms, and even memory issues. Hormone loss and imbalance is also associated with major medical problems such as heart disease, high blood pressure, and even increased cancer risk. Some women lose most of their hormones around the time of menopause, but many women have hormonal imbalance much earlier....even going back to their teens. Hormonal imbalance can cause emotional imbalance. Many women get placed on meds for depression and anxiety....when they would do better getting their hormones back to normal!" ~ Dr. Valerie Bonnett

This is not okay. I have literally been so tired and sleep deprived that I hoped that I could fall asleep driving home from being on call and crash and never wake up again. I wasn't even depressed or suicidal, just so tired that my brain and body literally ached. NOBODY can work these hours and stay alive and healthy long term. Doctors in residency (and practice) are treated like they are expendable, after already spending thousands of hours in med school. And tired doctors will make mistakes that will harm people. I can't think of another occupation that can work 72 hours in a row. It's stupid and it needs to change.
PS. Doctors who are working this many hours are just trying to preserve their own lives. It's really hard to muster compassion for others when you're drowning.Just tried to call her. No answer. She's probably still working. No labor law protection for physicians & medical trainees. This doctor just worked two full time jobs within 5 days. Her work week is not over yet folks. I know hospitalists who work 168 hour SHIFTS. That means 7 full days without a break.
